The heroes of the film — the old man Zeynolla and the war—deprived teenagers Dariga, Mukhtar and Amir transport cargo on light kank boats. When an old man dies, teenagers are left alone with a harsh and capricious river. War regenerates young heroes, forcing them to think about big life problems and moral criteria.
