Maria and Waldemar Nowak, a couple of officers from the Office for Foreigners, come with an unannounced visit to Lilianna and Édouard to examine whether their marriage is real or fake, serving only for the legalization of stay of Édouard, who is Algerian. The decision to grant the residence card to Édouard depends on the course of the visit.
