Lonely and gloomy Vera undergoes IVF in the hope of giving her life meaning. After the operation, the doctor offers the heroine a new service from the clinic - phone calls to the incubator for her embryo. Vera is not sure that she is ready for motherhood, but she still dials the incubator's number. Over the next few days, conversations with a non-existent interlocutor increasingly draw the heroine into a process of self-analysis and self-awareness.
