She has appeared on the catwalk for numerous fashion houses, including Thierry Mugler, Guy Laroche, Jean Paul Gaultier. Close won the "Miss Gay Brazil" beauty pageant at the age of twenty. That year, she made headlines and was dubbed "The world's most beautiful model".
