The mother-daughter duo starred in the 2015 award-winning movie Ticha Umbarthaa, directed by Dipti Ghonsikar. Jyoti essayed the role of Tejaswini mother-in-law in the movie and the duo won Best Supporting Actor and Best Actor at the 2015 Zee Gaurav Awards.
