Her former stage names were Miwa Sugihara (杉原 美和, Sugihara Miwa) and Miwa Tsukinohara (月野原 みわ, Miwa Tsukinohara). She is currently freelance. Although she was born in Tokyo, she grew up in Iwate and Aichi prefectures. She previously belonged to Production Baobab, Genki Project, and Remax. She has been a freelancer since April 1, 2019.
