Omegia is one to watch in the independent realm with her controversial documentary "Surviving America" staring Gerald Griggs (Civil Rights Attorney). After a successful military career, Omegia returned to her true love of filmmaking. After working as a crew member on several films, Omegia started her own production company in 2015. "Surviving America" is her fifth independent title.
