After Kurt was casted to be played by Collin Huber; Azar, Cavanaugh, & Recker auditioned hundreds of other actors to find the right fit for Kurt's son. After a week of no luck, they realized that the star was right under their noses the whole time. Azar just disappeared into the role of Kurt's son.
