Abbas Muntaqim is a Muslim, New Afrikan culture worker, educator, and organizer. He co-chairs and co-founded People’s Programs, an Oakland based New Afrikan/Pan Afrikan organization. He also co-hosts Hella Black Podcast. Abbas co-founded the Fannie Lou Hamer Black Resource Center at UC Berkeley and taught African American studies there for over four years.
