The plot is about the story of Amada María Otero Rosas, an attractive, efficient woman who boasts of having a perfect marriage with her husband Leonardo Guáqueta. Although Amada's other self, called Miranda, present in many scenes in the soap opera, yells at her that Leonardo is a liar and unfaithful, she believes his apologies to justify his faults.
