The Ching family is an affluent family that produces textiles for the royal family, the govt officials and the army during the Tang Dynasty. Circumstances force the Ching's 4th son, Ching Chi Hin to marry Dun Ju, the daughter of a Tibetan general. However, their relationship is marred by misunderstandings and hatred for each other.
