Takeshi Osawa (Ken Utsui), an assistant professor of piano at a music college, is remarrying his first love, the widowed Yumiko Tashiro (Kayo Matsuo). Yumiko's son, Toshio, is a young man whose piano playing Takeshi heard and recognized as talented.
