Everyone is busy reading about Ash and his assault case in the local paper, including the personnel officer, who sends him home in disgrace in the middle of his shift. Ash's last job before being sent home, is removing a moth from an old lady's ear and they end up sharing a taxi. Meanwhile a father's gift to his daughter has disastrous consequences when the car he bought her is involved in an accident and kills his wife, daughter and his son-in-law. He must face life caring for his two young granddaughters.
