Because of his limited qualification, the jobless Hui fails to find a satisfactory job and drinks day and night, Hsi-ya encourages him to start again. Meeting Hui, Pao-wen, still loving him, suggests they operate a tourist agent hoping to regain his affection. Due to their contacts in work, Hui becomes close to Pao-wen and seldom meets Hsi-ya who nevertheless understands Hui's situation without blaiming him.
