Carmel's brother, Darren, and his son, Junior, come to stay at her flat, much to her disgruntlement. Darren tells Dot that Nick has got a job as a gardener for the Queen Mother at her posh house in Devon. Angie tells Pat that Den went away to do a job for The Firm which cleared all his brewery debts. Den clocks that something has been going on between Simon and Mags while he's been away.
