Lake Onneto is the hidden gem of east Hokkaido Prefecture. Indigenous people of Ainu call the place "Elder Lake," and they have admired it for generations. In this special summer episode, we travel the wild nature in Lake Onneto with nature guide, Jin Gen. Dedicated to protecting the natural environment, locals affectionately call him "Kin-chan." We experience the ancient woods of Ainu and encounter the wild animals living there.
