ELLA picks a quarrel with PING again while trying to get a taxi, making FUNG more embarrassed than ever. YEE goes to the CHINs’ mansion and arrests ELLA on charge of murder. Desperate to prove ELLA’s innocence, YEE hustles around to look for a scabby beggar who can provide an alibi for her. TUNG and his team go to the CHINs’ mansion for another round of evidence collection, during which YEE spots the maids taking out two bags of unwanted clothes, which are donated by ELAINE for charity sale. TUNG discovers that the black ragged lace found around BONNIE’s watch winder is from a broken scarf of ELAINE. ELAINE, who has now become a prime suspect, admits arguing with BONNIE over PAUL some days ago. FUNG is so worried about his family.
