It's the beginning of the Showa era. Miyu spends the night at a lonely inn deep in the mountains, where she meets a man traveling with his daughter. The same night, Reiha arrives at the inn in disguise. She sees Miyu as her arch-enemy. The next day, the father and daughter set foot on a mountain from which no one has returned.
