The team investigate paranormal activity in Heidelberg, Germany. At an ancient monastery, built on a site that stretches back to Roman times and earlier, Ian makes psychic contact with the spirit of a dead monk. Kay and the others hear what sounds like women and children screaming. The following evening the team are at the magnificent Frankenstein Castle, where Chris and Paul's equipment go haywire.
