When Li Tsing and his wife see that Chang San-lang will not revolt, they return to the Wa Gang city. Siang-r sees that her work is finished; but to keep her promise, she does not say anything and leaves Chang. Lan Ling also leaves for the capital. Yang Kuang orders the attack of Kao Li, causing his people to undergo more sufferings. Lan Ling tries to persuade Yang Kuang, but Kuang does not listen. When Li Tsing and others return to the Wa Gang city, they find Chang San- lang.
