Julie suggests that perhaps it is because Allison MacKenzie is the ""local good girl"", prompting Betty to make a declaration of her own individuality. Rod drives Allison out to Tucker's Pond where they engage in a kiss. After parting company with Laura Brooks, who is attracted to the doctor, Rossi meets Constance MacKenzie in the town square and walks her home.
