When Gangadhar asks Sakhubai, Lacho and Jankibai to bless Laxmibai, Sakhubai refuses to do so and asks for a proof that she is indeed Laxmibai. Gangadhar gets furious. But Laxmibai goes towards her and whispers that she knows that she (Sakhubai) had stolen Gangadhar Rao's treasure. Laxmibai threatens to expose her misdeed. Sakhubai panics and quickly blesses Laxmibai saying that she was only testing her. Gangadhar Rao wishes to spend time with Laxmibai. But Vahini Saheb takes Laxmibai with her saying that she needs rest. Gangadhar is disappointed.
