Gangadhar is attacked, and Rao Dulhajo sets the hut on fire. A grief-stricken Moropant is comforted by Tatya Tope and Chimna Bai. A broken-hearted Gangadhar sits outside the destroyed hut waiting to share the evening meal with Laxmi Bai. Moropant urges him to return to the palace. The British celebrate their victory. Daai Maa rescues Laxmi Bai.
