Tatya Tope and Nathey Khan start walking toward their respective camps when fire is lit near the ground filled with gunpowder. Ladai Sarkar gestures to Nathey Khan to run towards the galloping horse. Tatya Tope too runs but, unfortunately, steps on the ground covered with gunpowder and dies in the blast. Raghunath and the Prime Minister are shocked at his death. Acharya declares the end of the battle for the day.
