However, Laxmibai manages to rescue him from Hamilton. She ties Damodar on her back and chases Hamilton. Laxmibai then throws a rope at him and drags him. Hamilton gets surrounded by Laxmibai and her confidantes, including Rao Dulajo. She beheads Hamilton and then burn him as a shocked Hugh Rose watches the incident from a distance.
